Welcome to InBrief Spring 2018
Welcome to our spring and summer edition of InBrief. Please don’t let this be the last issue that we send to you. If you haven’t yet replied to our email or filled in and returned the form, see the article on page 6 which details how to let us know your preferences.
We take a look at important news on stamp duty and how to make sure you pay the correct amount when buying land or property. We have teamed up with Cornerstone to ensure clients get the very best advice.
One of our team, Marianne Webb, has been all the way to China to visit a new client and we hear news of her trip to some of the key cities.
We turn our attention to the arts this issue and news of a film showcasing Kent’s coal mining heritage and performances by the wonderfully talented Changeling Theatre, set against some of Kent’s historic landmarks, including Allington Castle pictured on the cover.
2018 marks the 100th anniversary of armistice and there is news of the 2018 campaign on page 11. On page 12 we look at the Royal British Legion Industries new village for veterans here in Maidstone which will also house a delightful garden from the Chelsea Flower Show.
I hope you enjoy this edition and please don’t hesitate to contact a member of the team if there is anything we can do to help.
