The Vicars Picnic 2018

When a group of residents from Yalding, Maidstone couldn’t get tickets to Glastonbury they decided to organise their own event. Several years on it is a successful festival which is growing in popularity, providing a safe, family festival dedicated to great live music, entertainment from DJs, comedians, artists and poets plus a kid’s field of fun all served up with gourmet food and drink.

This year’s event took place on the 20th and 21st July and Gullands were delighted to be sponsors. Bands such as Starsailor and Fun Lovin Criminals headlined and visitors were entertained by a number of other well established and emerging acts.

Gullands’ Alan Williams has been a regular at the event and comments: “This is a fantastic event, a group of dedicated local people who come together and work really hard for the love of live music and entertainment. We were delighted to support them this year by sponsoring the stylish festival wrist bands and we look forward to supporting future events.”
