Lawyer Helen opens our new reception
Helen Grant, the Conservative Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Maidstone and the Weald, has officially opened our new reception facilities at Gullands in Mill Street, Maidstone.
Helen, who is also a practising solicitor, cut the ribbon with Managing Partner, Richard Cripps and Chairman, Blair Gulland.
“I was so pleased to be asked to open the reception area at one of the county’s foremost legal firms.” said Helen.
Richard Cripps said: “Although visits to clients’ offices or homes can be arranged through our outreach policy, there are some who prefer to come into the office, combining a visit with other town centre appointments, and we accept that if they do, we should make them more comfortable.
“With that in mind we had plans drawn up to redesign and refurbish the reception area in Mill Street,” he said.
While in Maidstone, at the invitation of Gullands’ clients, Judith and Fergus Wilson, Helen, accompanied by her husband, Simon, took the opportunity to meet local farmers to discuss the problems affecting the agriculture industry. She also announced her plans for a new Business Forum, which was launched in January, aimed at addressing some of these problems. Helen said she intended to visit local farms to “see for myself”.
While in Maidstone Helen also visited the Maidstone Fatstock Show before attending the annual Show lunch.
