Gullands sponsors local Cup Final

We were delighted to sponsor the Maidstone and Mid Kent Sunday Football League Invitation Cup Final at the Gallagher Stadium Maidstone on Friday 5 May, which saw local teams Len Valley FC take on Invicta Sunday.

The crowd were treated to a competitive game with end-to-end action and multiple challenges on goal from both teams. Len Valley took the lead early on and then bravely hung on until the 94th minute when Invicta equalised.

The match was settled on penalties with the final score being Len Valley FC 4 and Invicta Sunday 2.

Gullands’ Business Manager Paul Mannering handed out the medals and it was a great evening for local, grassroots football.

Paul comments: “We are delighted to support football at this level. It brings together local players and encourages a friendly rivalry. Playing at the Gallagher Stadium is a great reward for their hard work throughout the season and as there can be only one winning team on the night, we would like to thank both teams for such an entertaining and nerve-wracking final. It was great to see the lads at Len Valley kept their heads after hanging onto the lead for so long and to be victorious on penalties.”
