Gullands increases ties with the big society co-operative
Gullands has taken its partnership with the Big Society Co-Operative (BSC) to the next level.
The firm’s chairman, Blair Gulland, is now chair for the co-operative and Gullands has provided accommodation for BSC staff who moved into the firm’s adjoining 22A Mill Street offices in May.
Big Society Co-Operative was awarded £600,000 under the Government’s Transforming Local Infrastructure scheme earlier this year. The funds are being used to create sustainable support for organisations responsible for rationalising and transforming support services across Kent.
Amanda Carpenter, one of the co-founders of the BSC said: “Blair has been a very supportive and helpful sounding board. His gusto for getting things done and recommendations on strategy have been extremely helpful.”
