Disco dancing against Cancer
Come and dance the night away at the Hilton Hotel Maidstone on Friday 18th July from 7.30pm to 1am to raise money for Pancreatic Cancer UK.
The perfect opportunity to relive your school days, ‘Once Upon a Time: Dance the Night Away’, with Spectrum Disco, will feature music from the 1950s right up to the present day. There will be prizes for the best dressed and don’t worry if you have two left feet, there will also be a fabulous belly dance cabaret, a jazz trio and a buffet to enjoy.
Hosted by Jane Seaman, who tragically lost both her parents to pancreatic cancer within 6 months of each other, the event will also include a fundraising raffle with a range of prizes to be won including two season tickets to Doddington Place Gardens, a hypnotherapy session at B Neill Hypnotherapy Maidstone, free passes to Indulgence Events, and a Will worth £150 from Gullands Solicitors. All proceeds raised will go towards research into the causes, earlier diagnosis and treatment of pancreatic cancer.
Jane Seaman, event organiser, commented: “After losing my Mum and Dad, Pancreatic Cancer UK became a charity very close to my heart. Each year around 8,500 people in the UK are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, which has the lowest survival rate of all the cancers. All donations can help facilitate more research and hopefully bring us one step closer to more knowledge and understanding of this awful illness.”
Booking in advance is essential to avoid disappointment. Tickets are £20 each and can be purchased from Eventbrite, http://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/once-upon-a-time-dance-the-night-away-tickets-11441559011.
