Covid reopening 12 April and beyond – an important time for non-essential retail
A milestone is reached today (12 April) as a number of businesses will be able to reopen following the new Covid guidance. With the emphasis for pubs and restaurants on outdoor drinking and dining there are likely to be some issues for licensees over the coming weeks and months. One Maidstone have produced a useful guide and if you have any queries from your local council regarding complaints they have received about noise or any other issue, get in touch with our team.
Leroy Bradley, partner at Gullands comments: “This is the day many licensees have been waiting months for and whilst they will have prepared there are likely to be some ongoing issues as people get used to the tempo the new outdoor dining rules create and the impact this may have on residential neighbours and other businesses. We are here to help you deal with any complaints about noise or any other licensing issues.”
