Be prepared with MySolicitor (and yours)

In our increasingly complex world, more and more people are finding themselves in need of cost-effective and high-quality legal advice. Whether needing a will, buying a property, arguing with neighbours, or chasing a builder to complete work, we all now realise the value of using legal systems.

Gullands Solicitors, a long-established law firm in Maidstone and Gravesend, has on many occasions, been asked to offer legal services to the employees of our key corporate clients, and we have done this under the label of “MySolicitor”. The success of the scheme has now been proven and is being extended to employees of all local companies.

From the company’s viewpoint, it is able to offer a staff benefit of discounted legal services, with no cost to the company.  Each employee will be given a plastic card, which will qualify them for 10% discount on any domestic law matter, providing it does not put them into conflict with the company.

From the viewpoint of the staff member, they will receive a discount on legal services, which is supplied simply as a staff benefit, with no cost or obligation to them.

Gullands will send regular law updates to all companies operating the MySolicitor scheme, to send on to staff or put on staff notice boards.  The updates will be single page flyers, giving examples of recent legal advice for everyday domestic matters.  In addition, the company can request that Gullands run short legal “clinics”, on customer sites, to minimise time off work.

MySolicitor represents a giant leap forward in making access to the law simple and easy for everyone, and our lawyers promise to speak to you in everyday terms, free of jargon and “legalese”.
