All our lawyers have been involved in significant claims, involving compensation running into £100,000’s. Our lawyers have represented clients who have suffered serious trauma, resulting in amputation or other life changing injuries. We also represent family members who have lost a loved one in a fatal accident. We support relatives through the other legal processes which follow a fatal accident such as a criminal prosecution (see Health & Safety) or an Inquest.
Medical Negligence (Clinical Negligence)
Philip Grylls leads Gullands niche Clinical Negligence practice having trained at a well known London medical law firm. He works closely with Anna Golding and together they have given their advice on a wide range of medical complaints where unfortunately treatment has not been successful. In recent times these have included:
Replacement joint surgery (knees and hips).
Cosmetic breast surgery
Failure to diagnose testicular torsion
Negligent cancer diagnosis
If you have been the victim of medical treatment which has gone wrong, we offer a free initial discussion, to help decide if your case is worth investigating further.
If you have lost a loved one as a result of a medical accident, we can also advise and arrange representation for you through the Inquest process see link.
Philip Grylls is the Head of Gullands’ litigation department and is immensely experienced in a wide array of personal injury claims and medical negligence cases (see above). He has also acted both for claimants and defendants. He always advises his clients whether their desired outcomes can be achieved and if so how best to work together to achieve those. This is at the heart of everything he does.
Leroy Bradley is a partner who joined Gullands as a trainee legal executive in 1985. He has pursued a vast number of varied personal injury claims and has experience of acting for insurers. Leroy’s practice has been predominantly for claimants across a range of fast and multi track claims. Leroy is commited to supporting and assisting clients and is known for sound and realistic assessment of claims and making wise tactical decisions.
Anna Golding qualified in 2005 and is an experienced personal injury and medical negligence lawyer. She has undertaken a wide variety of personal injury claims, including acting for clients who have sadly suffered life changing injuries. Whilst the majority of Anna’s clients are claimants, she also has experience of acting for defendants in personal injury claims. Anna takes pride in supporting her clients through the claims process and taking time to explain and involve her clients in decisions along the way. Recent cases include bringing a successful claim against an NHS Trust, which negligently gave an incorrect cancer diagnosis and proceeded to provide unnecessary and harmful treatment.
Andrew Clarke has practised personal injury litigation since 1994. He originally acted for defendants such as local authorities, large employers and their insurers. He has therefore seen claims from the defendant’s perspective (and continues to represent defendants in the related areas of health & safety prosecutions and inquests). Andrew’s work is now almost exclusively for claimants who he has represented in a very wide variety of claims. Andrew is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).
